Thought I’d add another work in progress before calling it quits for tonight. Wanting to get these finished and polished, hoping for a kind of art nouveau look, but we’ll see where it ends up.

Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and Catwoman =)

Another work in progress i’m afraid.

Not sure how i feel about this one, im not too happy with it at the moment. Its a bit too bright and lovely for me. Bearing in mind it is almost 3am and I have been staring at it for about 4 hours now.

I think I want my artwork to take a different direction to this. I need it to be a little rougher, and a little less flat. I want to be better than this. Think the next few months Im going to try and have a serious overhaul of my art, think its about time.

A work in progress. This took so much more effort than anticipated, mostly due to me being ill and taking a break from drawing (which we all know is a bad idea)
A character I’m working on at the moment, she’s going to appear quite a lot in my upcoming projects. I’m thinking of calling her Erin Genevieve, though that’s to be confirmed.
Back to reality for me, going to be redoing my background once these next month is over, so very busy.

Sneak peak of the Genesis Project, first few pages!

I’ve uploaded a few pages of my book to issuu.com. Hopefully by the end it will be complete and you can view the whole book online! =)

Last squid - I promise!

Full colour of the inked squid I did the other day. Actually my first underwater painting, it was quite a task trying to keep it in my head. Theres a few things i’d like to improve on, including adding a little more into the background, to give it some depth.

Squids! A page from my project featuring my Harpoon Squids. I don’t want to give too much away from the book but I wanted to show my progress. I’m liking the way my project is all coming together now, its nice having sketches put in the right place!

The harpoon squid. Usually found in the deeper part of the ocean, the squids have come to the surface for food. Using their large parachute-like tentacle hood, it puffs up the water and shoots itself out of the water. Whilst observing them, the squids gathered in groups in the shallow waters. Sea birds began to gather above them, underestimating the squids. They have adapted to be able to leap out of the water and grab a bird with its head tentacles. Though the biggest we have found is about 8ft long (including its tentacles) we are fairly certain in the deeper part of the ocean the squids grow to be double that size.
